Everyone carries something, even when others cannot see it.
In the Forest of Trees, Benny the Beaver, Rainy the Rabbit, Maddie the Mouse, and Simon the Squirrel each pull an invisible wagon filled with worries, responsibilities, hopes, and dreams.
Benny feels the pressure of getting every job right. Rainy worries about what might happen next. Maddie tries to do everything at once. Simon wants to help, but first he must learn how to understand what his friends are carrying.
When Simon discovers the gift of seeing their Imagine Wagons, the friends learn that kindness, listening, teamwork, and asking for help can make even the heaviest load feel lighter.
Told through gentle rhyme and colorful forest illustrations, Forest and Trees: Thank You and Please gives children and families a meaningful way to talk about big feelings, empathy, friendship, responsibility, and the importance of helping one another.
