Unspoken Traditions

By: Barbara A Wilkey

Unspoken Traditions is about a young Jewish high school teacher, Shana Kohlberg, who accidentally discovers love while in New York City attempting to retrieve a painting stolen from her family. There are two main questions that will be answered while reading this novel. Will Shana accept the love this Gentile offers and will the family's stolen artwork be recovered?

The painting was stolen from Shana Kohlberg’s family during World War II’s Kristallnacht. In an attempt to retrieve it from the present owner, Ivan Babanin, leader of a Russian Mafia, she accidently meets and falls in love with Anderson Sharp, a rich Texan oil baron. She fears her father will disown her if she allows her love for Anderson, a Gentile to develop.
